Which model of lacrosse hip boots are best? I had to send back a pair of traplline boots because the knee reinforcement started to Crack around the edges and leak. Lacrosse gave me a credit for another pair of their boots, not sure if I should get another pair of rrapline boots or try something else. I wear my boots all day for land and water trapping which is why I liked the knee reinforcement of the trapline boots. What do you folks reccomend?

Good question, I’m looking too. The frog toggs I got are super comfortable but I have to be very careful walking through the bush. Patched a hole already. Wish carhartt or Duluth company would make a pair.

Yep they are twice as much then before and poor quality today for what your paying. I guess moving the manufacturing over seas was good for them but not for the consumers. I know I’ll take Cabela’s octane boots over laCrosse boots anytime way better quality and real liners not the newspaper thin ones LaCrosse uses.

I bought LaCrosse boots for years that new foam rubber material sucks.

I asked about the problem and here’s their response…..

I told them I read it in their product review from their site.

Might as well get a cheap boot, will last about the same amount of time as LaCross. Chinese rubber don't last....

They'll be my next pair.

How do they seal to your boots? Are they for standing in water over your knees?

I regret not looking at the dans in the first place, only reason I'm asking for lacrosse is because I have credit with them. Are the Black premium boots or the original burlys any count?

John Wick in Missouri made the toughest tops ever put on a lacrosse boot. Unfortunately his business has been closed for a long time. Swamp Wolf is correct, Dan's is probably your next best option.

Dan's are ok, if you don't mind a wet seat. If running a water line where you are constantly in and out of the water, those boots will gradually bring the water into the truck.

IMO Stone Creek is much better than Dan's. Pretty much exact replicas of Wick's.
