Cool video , well worth the 15min watch. Thanks for posting.
No , I was not put off by the beginning. Learning the wrongs and cruelity of war and it's maniac leaders is all about how it was and to learn to not repeat things like that again. History sometimes is not pretty.

There is a book about D-Day from the perspective of a German soldier. What I remember him saying was that our naval bombardment created such a concussion that it took away his will to keep fighting. The German who wrote the book was in a pill box on a cliff where he could shoot down on our men as they came ashore. Our men finally overtook his location.

Good video and I think the best presidents, house representative, senators have been past war military. They know the evil and destruction, foolishness of war.

how the story of the dentist being killed for some fairly tame statements about the war should be a warning to all Americans about the current culture and its desire to censor and control "misinformation", "disinformation" and "hate speech". This all coming from the left. The lefts war on free speech in this country is enough that any rational American should never vote for a Democrat again.

The stories that always intrigued me were the ones that the ex German soldiers emigrated to the U.S after the war.Not that there is anything wrong with that but I found it strange, they spent all that time trying to kill American soldiers, and probably bought into the Nazi ideology,at least to some extent, then they pack up and move here after the war.I remember one story which was on the History channel concerned a ship that went down in the Atlantic and the location was never known.A ship was located, and to confirm it was the right one German U boat records were researched and they found the name of the U boat commander. They looked into his records, and found him living in Ohio as a retired shop worker for ,I believe ,General Motors!
