For corn with the USA, buys from Brazil that has a bumper crop.

What will this do to the corn market?

Put us farmers out of business. Them the corporations and rich like Bill gates can buy up the rest of the farm land in this country.

Bumper crop in Brazil, overall worldwide prices should go down unless drought severely affects other major corn/grain producing countries.

Until this country runs out of ink or paper there isn't any reason anyone should go out of business. You doom and gloom guys need to realize nothing bad can ever happen here...

I've spent my entire life eating top quality home grown beef, I'm eating the old cull cow this year.

DS I'm almost right there with you. Job comes with a half of a fat beef a year or I'd be having to try to suffer through on deer at these prices. Or worse yet be eating cull cows from Mexico like poor jbird. Lol

Some does and fawns will have to die this year because this old cows steaks won't cut it. Doe backstrap is a pretty top notch steak substitute in my opinion.

Agriculture is evil. Before man invented agriculture we got to hunt and forage full time for a living...as Wissmiss says: "Just saying".

They’re driving the price down it should be getting close to the same price as Brazil, I read one place it’s actually cheaper, then they’ll rebuy, they took protection early when the Brazilian crop looked poor and now are taking advantage of the cheaper corn, it’ll rebound the question is how much, one issue that is weighing on the markets is the debt limit, the traders and the world doesn’t know what will happen if we default so nobody is crazy on buying anything.

And a lot of people got pretty hungry in the winter.

We were farmers first care takers of the garden.

If prices go down I might buy a bag or two. Haven’t bought corn in a year or two since my son started working for a peanut inspection company. Got 4 50gal barrels full of peanuts and feed weekly. Everything seems to love peanuts as much as corn.
