Yes, They like pretty much all seasonal fruits. I do a lot of road riding looking for sign and this time of year here they are on black berries and around August they are on muscadines and then on to persimmons I see it in the scat I find on the road. Not a fruit but i have seen grasshoppers in scat.

They will hit the corn here for a week or two. Mulberries are ate by everything when they are falling to the ground.

Ask the melon farmers north of you, they hate coyotes.

Coyotes are almost as bad as coons for having a sweet tooth.

Caught many on WCS Treeberry Paste bait.

Yup, I've seen more than one pile of "bear scat" full of plum pits, that came out of the back end of a coyote. Blackberries seem to be their most preferred fruit in any of the areas I have been, but they will eat almost anything at times.

Father in law set a cage trap to catch some coon that were eating his plums. Used some for bait and caught this instead.

That’s pretty sweet. Seen everything else in a cage trap here but not a coyote…yet.
