Liver is gross, all liver. You could of used a lot of other types of meat or seafood (even gizzards) and it would be great though.

Gizzards are yummy too. I am a huge fan of Sitka Blacktail, chicken, and duck liver.

I've tried several times to eat various livers, chicken, beef, pork, etc... just hate the mineraly taste of it all. It looks great, smells great but I hate the flavor. There aren't many things I won't eat but liver is one and brussel sprouts almost completes the list. The crab meat would be great, dove breast, shrimp, stuffed jalapenos, etc... but I'll save the chicken livers for catfish bait. lol

They do look great though!

The bacon over powers and compliments the liver taste. Make every other one a mushroom ore pepper wrapped in bacon and enjoy

Liver is the most healthiest food you can put in your face.
We cut up raw caribou liver while butchering and shake a bit of salt on it and down the gullet.
