Sometimes I leave them on sometimes off. Mostly depends on the weather.
God please keep they 19 fallen UBB miners out of trouble up there.

When I enter my own home, I usually take them off if I have been walking on anything that might get tracked in. If a guest arrives, I tell them to leave them on or their feet will get dirty. If I am at someone else's home, I will take them off or ask them if I should remove them.
I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

Girlfriends daughter requires shoes off immediately as she has a baby crawling on the floor, yet has a dog and a cat in the house. Hmmmmmmm ok.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

I knew a farmers wife who required changing out of work clothes before entering the house. That's too much. I like going stocking footed in the summer, but we have bullthorns in this country. Stepping on one of those can dampen the day oh I could understand that at least coveralls off you get mud and manure all over you during mud season which depending on the year might go 6 months. lots of farms around here when they built the shop built an office , and showers and such so that they can keep all the mess in the work space and out of the house , painted concrete floors out there that can be cleaned easier. when I am at the farm I take my boot off at the door and go stocking foot if I am coming in for lunch or I stand on the big mat by the door if I am just popping in to talk. at home I am in town with a lot less mud and manure

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Off.
Maybe if you had hardwood/vinyl floors that are easier to clean you could leave em on. Carpet is too much of a pain to clean.

If we had a shoes off rule or I went some place often for longer than a short time I would be doing a MR Rodgers at the door changing to my inside shoes.
