While in use the O2 pressure suddenly went to zero. Still have 1500 lbs in the tank per the regulator inlet gauge but nothing on the outlet. No response from adjusting the outlet pressure valve. Any ideas? The regulator is part of a mini-torch rig and has no MFG name on it.

Yes, something went wrong in the regulator. I guess that means just buy a new one.

Dealer can send it in for rebuild. Cost may be as much or more then it's worth though.

Before you rebuild it, take the gauge off and crack the valve, the gauge could be stuck and the bottle empty.

Too bad your a half continent away, I have a shelf full of gauges after 45 years of being in welding and supply business. Pete is correct about the cost to rebuild. It’s a throw away world.

I closed the tank valve and removed the regulator. The inlet press gauge went to zero so it's not the gauge. A new regulator is on order and due in tomorrow. I will pull the gauges to keep as spares and toss the rest in the scrap bin. At least it's a good chunk of brass if I ever need any.

Thanks folks.
