Interesting how starts in Sept. That is when the people here would start to move out for the further traplines about 200 miles up in the country. They had to negotiate some tough upstream rivers to get there. Took them a month to get up there and then had to get their tilts fixed up and a bunch more done. Imagine same for some other areas for the guys and families working the long lines far from the trading posts.
