Each tire is rated up to 1610# at 65 psi. There's 4 tires.
Thats 6440#. Would you run 65 PSI in them or a little less?

I would run 65# . Less air will make the tires heat up more. It will also lead to more tire wear using a lower pressure.

you use a little less fuel if you run max pressure. watch your tires. if the center shows more tread wear than the outside run a little less. run them them very much lower they get hot and will wear faster or even come apart.

They have worn unevenly in the past at 45. 65 it is!

Yup, with loads like trailers you want run at recommended psi. Airing down really only comes into play offroad when traction or flotation are needed. But you shouldn't be hauling weight in those conditions.

If it’s summer 60 lbs when cold
In winter 65 lbs

45 is 1/3 flat not surprised if you only got year out of them if you use it much

If I wanted to get the most tread life I would run the pressure that caused most even tread wear. You need to figure this out with the normal load you are pulling. If you normally carry a full freshwater tank for example you need to have the tank full when you figure out the right pressure

Pressure too low, tread on outside edges wears faster
Pressure too high, center tread wears faster

I am running 285/75/16's on my 99 Tacoma, same tire on a 3/4 ton would need more pressure

Different tires require different amounts of air too. Can't just decide 62# is the best and then get new set of different tires and them always perform the same at 62 as the previous set did
