PS that load has worked on coyotes to elk. Like I said coyotes look awful when you retrieve them but skin and then wash anyway. That big mess ends up being a tear you can sew. Have heard of jacket bullet separation with those bullets but never had that problem myself

I never shoot factory ammo but I have a box of nosler patition 160 grain I bought years ago. Uncle was telling me 130 was to light for elk. They don't shoot near as flat and not as accurate as 130 so never shot anything with them. i suspect they will work as i like partitions. uncle was wrong about 130 on Elk though he would never admit it. he was a 30-06 club fan. seen lots of 150 grain grain factory ammo for sale.

130 grain Winchester silvertips. Been shooting whitetails with it for 20 years. They don't go far when hit properly.

I am a big fan of the jacketed hollow point stuff in the box you photographed. For my .257 Robert's and now .25-06, the 119 grain jacketed soft points plant even the biggest Kansas deer even if they had been running full out. I cannot imagine a 140 grain out of the .270 performing much differently. Ethical shots should be as easy as hitting where you aimed WRR.
