Chickens have been pigging out on them. They all have blue/black feet.

Lots of small green ones here.
Probably ten days or so.
My daughter considers them a must have.
Juiced and freezer.

Where I grew up near Cincinnati, our huge, backyard mulberry tree always had ripe fruit right as our school year ended around June 4th to June 6th. I live further North now and our berries are ripe about 2 weeks later.

2 years ago there was a near complete crop failure of mulberries on my farm. I found and ate 1 berry and I probably looked at forty some good sized mulberry trees. Last year there was a bumper, branch breaking crop of mulberries and they tasted terrible. They were watery with poor sugar content.

This year many of the trees don't have fruit and it's been dry, so I am hopeful the mulberries will taste good again.

Every critter likes them. Surprised no one makes a good bait from them.
