I've got a john deere d105. It has give nothing but trouble. I had a yardman before this one, never gave any trouble. Thinking about a cub cadet with a brigs motor. Any recommendations?

I don't know how big your yard is or how much you want to spend, but Huskyvarna makes a zero turn with a Kawasaki engine for $3500. Lots makers are using Kawasaki. They're fun to run and if you have time you can make Xtra cash mowing for others.

Not sure about a Briggs and scrapiron but my cub cadet with the Kohler has been awesome. I've got a gravely zero turn with the kawasaki that so far is very good. The zero turn cuts a 4 hour job down to 2.5 hours. Forgot to add but the only 2 problems I've had with the cub cadet is spindles and steering linkage in the 10 years we've had it.

I have a Husky with a 54” deck and it does a great job. Takes about 2 hours to mow about 2 acres of lawn.

I stopped in to the husky dealership last week, he told me husky quite making lawn mowers. They stock torro now. I've got about 1/3 of an acre at the house and 1.5 acres at the shop. I only have to mow the weeds down around the shop 4 or 5 times a summer

Bomgaars just got 3 new zero turn Huskys in on the truck Thursday. Maybe someone else makes them now but they have the brand on them.

He told me they quit making lawn mowers and weed eaters. Maybe he told me that because they didn't have any

With the handle Super Cub, a Cub Cadet seems a very fitting choice.

Budget is biggest thing. How much you want to spend? Lot of repo going on right now.

I don't mind paying for a mower, I just want something that will last. I take good care of them but I'm sure not happy with this john deere. Those cub cadets are on sale today. $200 off. The one I looked at was 42 inch for $2495

I have a 2009 kubota zero turn bought it new just do general maintenance and replaced the first deck belt this year , this one has a kubota engine but otherwise go with Kawasaki engine kohlers are junk for me and remember cub cadet and all I believe are made by MTD and just put different names on them

We have a John Deere SST16 that I use for leaves and mowing. And it has held up to being used as a commercial mower for years. It's about 20 years old now but that Kawasaki is still kicking.

Great machine probably better than Kubota

I'm not sure but you can buy a John deere or husqvarna at home depot but they are not the same as one you'd get at a true dealer.
