I remember when I was a kid and those guys would climb the poles with those spikes strapped on. Now they just use a lift. Probably a lot safer.


Are we living in a time when intelligent people ae silenced so stupid people won't be offended?

One of our old lineman had a heart attack and died at the top of a pole. It was after a storm and there wasn't enough bucket trucks to go around.
