I have a little over a half gallon of bobcat gland lure. If I want to preserve where it is with ZV how is the best way to infuse such a small amount of it to permeate the half gallon? Does it fairly well preserve throughout over time? It’s in a gallon glass jar and I’ve been stirring with a large bait fork.

Mix your zinc valerate powder with some good clean bobcat urine and mix it in. A potent Zinc Valerate is not only effective at preserving it will enhance the gland odor.

The Zinc V that we use does not dissolve well in water soluble materials I have found. Maybe it is how our Zinc V. is made?
It acts almost like a silica type material. Water repels from it.

You may want to try dissolve it in some vodka or Everclear and allow it to release into that media with some agitation and stirring to speed up the process. This will the allow better distribution once fully dissolved then it can be added to some urine or distilled water for more volume to satisfy the use volume needed.
