Seems it took a toll on our skunks this year I’ve not had a call in over a month normally I get several calls a week but getting zip calls now not seeing road kills much either. Looks like the tail bounty is way down also it’s about half of the goal they allow with only 4 weeks remaining to turn tails in. Coons are the lions share of tails turned in so far skunk numbers seem way down.

I noticed the early skunks I got were dehydrated kind of mushy when using the pole on them. More like a ballon full of air not water and no weight to them lacking body mass.

In the past I’ve had a dead skunk in a cat cubby that had been working it on video that was in the same shape with no weight to it. l did notice it’s nails had not been wore down on that one.

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

The long winter here doesn't appear to have hurt the skunk or bear populations in these parts.

I have nothing clever to put here.

What few skunks I got this spring where skinny, full of worms and very little if any quill at all.

Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.
