After 2 years of scouring the internet on a weekly basis, I finally found a Case Choctaw to round out the collection.

Anyone else have these knives? I have the sheaths to them all except for the Kiowa. I may end up buying another Kiowa knife with a sheath since my Kiowa has scratches from an improper sharpening job by the previous owner.

Wow. Never heard of them before but looks like a great collection. I love my Case folder.

Have the new Fort Massac buildings been repaired so folks can access them?

How bout trying to polish the Kiowa
I've polished many knives and taken out almost all scratches. I've never polished one with a picture on it though.

Back in 2011 there was a major flood that damaged the forts and that's why they closed them down. You can walk through the fort now, but cannot go into the buildings anymore

Disrespectful of all of the hypersensitive democrat Native Americans.

Both of them...

These were a series of knives made in the very late 70's into the very early 80's. I never knew they existed until I saw a Pawnee knife for sale at an antique store. I went back to buy it because i thought it was cool, and it was gone. So I did some research on the internet and found out it was a set of 4. The Arapaho, Kiowa, and Pawnee seem to be easily found on eBay. The Choctaw however took me a couple years of literally looking multiple times a week before one was offered for sale. I paid between $90-$125 for each individually. Probably 10 years ago was when I saw that first Pawnee at the antique store, and it was for sale for $70 without a sheath. I was just a teenager hard strapped for cash then.

You got a great collection and thanks for the history class on them. I will keep my eye open for just one.
