Think I got mine from No BS. Kegs Creek had some too.
Have no clue of mesh count, lol. Think it’s just 5” or 6” screens

Regular steel screen from the hardware store. Size depends upon what size/style/brand traps your using. Don't over think things.

I just get the black screen from Lowe’s like 12$ for a roll of it makes 100’s of screen covers. Not as stiff as the screen form No Bs but can just cut twice the length fold over and staple together if looking for stiffness. Either way the screen is useless after catch is made. This is how I do my screen covers for when using just a grass covering on flat sets or pipe sets.

Aluminum screen is NOT steel screen

And . . .

not tucking it under the jaws , ( when you cut it to fit inside the jaws ) takes away the 'kill area' effect that is a benefit when using large jaw traps and steel screen.

Yeah paying 11 dollars for a dozen pan covers is pretty ridiculous if you ask me just buy a roll on Amazon cut to fit

I think O'Gorman's is 18 wires per inch but not sure, might be less. I know Craig says to tuck it under too but I started cutting the slits and slipping it on the pan like that video a few years ago and I don't see a difference- especially with the wire from O'Gorman's. The soil in Montana is not the same as what I have in Illinois. Craig said he had it made for them by a manufacturer I believe it. I would say he must have gotten a special run of it and it is fairly stiff and appears to be thicker wire. Aluminum does not do the same job. His screen has some kind of coating on it. I have actually used some over several times- not as a rule but 10% of the time. It's tough to cut with a pocket knife. O'Gorman's will sell you a whole roll if you want it. It's not like any I have seen. I won a glass shop and have worked with screen for almost 40 years. His is different.
