this early heat this year is terrible. The bug hatch is as bad as I have ever seen.my pond is down a foot already. Temp hit 90 degrees yesterday , a few years back we only had 3 days in the 80s, man that was a great summer. How is it where you live?

Pretty warm (mid 80s) and dry as a popcorn fart. Low humidity, which is odd when we are this warm. Next rain in the forecast is next weekend, that'll be about 5 weeks since the last rain, if it happens. Watering the garden every day. Bugs haven't been too bad yet. Creeks and ponds are down a bit, not bad yet.

Last two days it has been in the 30's C,with nights in the 20's..Cant stand it.Bush is dry, scared there will be fires when the next thunderstorms go thru the area.Whenever we get high temps like that for a few days, and the humidity builds,we always get thunderstorms, then it cools off again for a while.
Supposed to get a couple more days the same heat,,then back to normal mid 20's in the day and mid teens at night

You metric system bozos crack me up !!!

Speak English Fahrenheit temperatures when you are discussing
weather on an American trapping forum.

We don't want to hear that Canadian metric gibberish !!! laugh

Do it again and we'll carpet bomb Montreal & Quebec City

Not a big fan of the warmer weather easier. Just finished with a bear hunt in Manitoba and had to take care of things right away.

They invented google just for you.

Extra warm and dry here too, and bugs as bad as I have seen. Odd that they are that bad in dry weather but it is what it is.

Same here. Ridiculously dry, hit 90 yesterday and supposed to again or be darn close next few days. EC MN just a south of Duluth. Thank goodness for some occasional lake effect winds to bring sanity now and then. At least this time of year it’s been cooling off at night to open up the windows and cool the house off. Happy trapping! ScottW

I had 29 degrees (Fahrenheit) here on Thursday morning. The flowers and veggies I put out last Sunday are looking a little sad!

Same down here. We had record lows Memorial Day weekend. Dropped to 50° F. I've never seen it that low this time of year. Humidity was low too. It was great!!!!

Yellow flies did not like it. Suppressed them.

Been gradually getting hotter and dryer here for 10 to 15 years
I absolutely hate this weather. 90's today and dry dry dry for weeks with no real rain in the forecast. We just had the winter of no snow to boot. Already affected wells in the area
