Not really. The Mormons (LDS) use the "LDS version" if the KJV. They had to make some monifications of it in order to fit their theology. I suppose they want the general populous to think they use the KJV since most people are familiar with it.

Most mainstream denominations accept one core canon and all of the various versions are in fundamental agreement on the text varying only in methodology of translation of the accepted textus receptus. The two extremes being word for word translation and thought for thought translation.

The exception being the catholic acceptance of the apocryphal books and the protestant not.

However there are a few non Christian, as in denying the divinity of Christ, denominations such as LDS and the watchtower jevohahs witness who did a complete rewrite not based upon the original textus receptus but instead written to support their perverted theology.

The Morman church has not changed the text of the kjv. They have however added foot notes and commentaries to the kjv to as you said fit there theology. Realy no different than most any bible with commentary. Such as Scofields reference bible that peaple teach and refer to as being dogmatic in some cases. I'm not a fan of any sort of comintary in the bible. I believe the Holy Spirit is the teacher and weather it be kjv or niv ect, if you're part of the body of Christ, redeemed, saved,or born again. Just to be clear then the translation is not your redemption. Only buy grace are ye saved, though faith, not of our selves, it is the gift of God.

Both mormons and jehovahs witnesses, along with many other heretical sects, both deny the one fundamental tenet of the Christian faith. The divinity of Christ as part of the Triune God head.

We love these sinful misguided people as much as any other but we cannot honor sin in any form.

I reckon folks can believe whatever they want when it comes to religion. As long as you harm no one else it's all good.

This is correct.

So, when did disagreement become hatred?

Obviously not all disagreement is hatred, but look at the level of disagreement poured out on Trapperman by some of these so called "Christians", who are not Christ like and how can you call it anything but hatred. When you call for stoning and the extermination of people of different beliefs, that surely is not "loving your neighbor as yourself", as commanded by Jesus Christ.
