That's okay, there are several other good versions that are just as accurate if not more-so.

There is a good bit of "knowing" in the bibl to be fair. For the most part, it's more or a warning about immoral knowing. It wasn't a how to guide or celebration of it. Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed, today it would be celebrated.

The founders didn't use the KJV version. Not sure why it got so popular here later on.

The King James Bible was seen as the bible of the king, who they disagreed with.

Funny Bible translations, versions etc. only became an issue when the masses became literate. Life was a lot more simple when one lliterate person read something to the masses. I bet there were not many Bible studies arguing the errors of our words back in the middle ages.

This is interesting , the kjv is the version the LDS church uses probably 60% of homes in Utah have several copies.

But LDS is anything but Christian.

I was just mentioning this become you would think there would be an uproar over removing the kjv by the later day saints. Mainly because they have so much say in Utah. The reason I said thems fightin words is I don't believe any Bible version should be baned from a school library. I'm sure that grade school kids are checking out Bible's for the porn. They might get confused and read somthing that tells them mem with men is not ok. That is what this is all about .

I do agree with you on this , the christ of the LDS church is a different Chist than a Bible BELIEVING church. They do not believe christ is God in the flesh. And they have some conflict with the first commandment. I live in Mormon country. Lds peaple are some of the most interesting peaple to talk to. And very knowledgeable in the word . Very hard folks to witness to.
