When we drop in a Coal Mine we see all of the different Climate Changes as well as the different environments that this Earth has gone thru. We also remember how in the 80's the Great Lakes were supposed to Freeze Solid and then 20 years later we all watched how Al Gore claimed that the Polar Caps were going to melt and Florida would be under water by 2010. Sea Level has not risen and his BS still is used. Only difference is they changed Global Warming (that could be disproved) to Climate Change. You cannot Disprove Climate Change because the Climate has been changing for thousands of years. just like Al Gore these Climate Greenies found a way to make Millions from it and are exploiting it!!!

The biggest hoax of our time. The government just uses this hoax to gain more power over the citizens and as an excuse to redistribute wealth. The sad part is that most are either to stupid or to lazy to really look into the matter and just believe the talking heads like the good little sheeple they are.

Want to bet, where do you think all these dodos get the money. I called a presenter out a few years ago at engineer's week and the guy got real angry. A little research and his firm's contracts were 80% fed/state.

Did you even listen to the video? Any comment relevant to the 32 climate predictions? or is look at our glaciers all you got?

The purpose of this video is not to expose science-based research. I did not watch it all. Formed my opinion after AOC was quoted.

I'm not a climatologist and there is absolutely nothing scientific about my observations but I can tell you that our winters are warmer than they used to be. Our rain and storm patterns have changed. I understand the difference between weather and climate.

And yes, Charles is right, everything I have read is that the glaciers are in fact melting.

Why the changes? I don't know, but there are generally too many people on this planet. I can draw a straight line between almost any problem straight to too many people.

P.S. I drive gasoline and diesel vechiles and equipment. No electric for me. I would however like some solar panels for SHTF purposes.

Can you quote one article that you have read that was independently researched from a reputable scientist that is NOT getting grants from a government agency that states glaciers are melting? No need to answer. You can't. You're behind the times (as usual). Rarely is the term "global warming" even used anymore. It has been disproven so many times now and so many "scientist" have been caught cooking the books and cherry picking facts that they gave up and just started calling everything"climate change". Well, NO CRAP! The climate has been changing long before man was here and will change long after man is gone. Man has ZERO to do with it. People look out the window, have a few floods or droughts and all of a sudden, man is changing the globe. Talk about delusions of grandeur.

I am no scientist. Very little formal education. I have seen fossil evidence though of creatures that sure look like they were cold blooded around Medicine Bow WY. Big creatures. Would have been tough to get below a frost line due to size. Possibly they could survive freeze and thaw. Who can say? Lots of evidence that most of KS was under water somtime in the past. Plenty of evidence that ice ages existed in the same locations. Climate has never been static. When I was in school we were told the world would be out of oil by the year 2000 and an ice age would be the result of carbon fuel pollution.

I am all for reducing air pollution. In the 70's driving into LA from Barstow down Tejon Pass on I15 it looked like thick fog over SOCAL. Not good, we all have to breathe. Whats going on though is way beyond anything rational in my mind.

Look at a picture of Mount Rainier in 1939 and one now. It had about 5% of the glaciers it has now. I could write a book on why CO2 doesn't cause global warming. It is complex enough that they can buffalo the masses but not anyone who understands molecular physics.

Funny thing is NASA reported the sun was putting out more energy a few years ago and when people jumped on it, the article disappeared.

I look at how here in WV it used to be a big Ice Glacier and then a Rain Forest and then a Desert, Did you ever think just maybe this world has always changed Climate wise and always will and Dinosaur Farts had nothing to do with it.

Charles, your opinion was formed long before you opened this thread, and nothing would convince you differently.

Had you listened to the video you would understand that the purpose was to expose that many of the previous dire climate predictions, by agenda driven politicians like Gore and AOC, and at the time prestigious science-based institutions, have not come true. The video simply quotes the predictions, who made them, the predicted time frame for the disasterous outcome and what eventually happened. Pretty straight forward and factual.

I would agree that YouTube videos are probably not the best source for Climate science analysis, but in this particular case it is a pretty straight forward factual comparison of what was predicted, when, by who, and what eventually happend.
What would have been far more preferable would have been for the original sources that published those dire predictions to actually do some follow up on the outcome. But, I doubt there is much chance of that happening.
Does any of that make you wonder why?

I am not arguing for or against the idea of climate change. I am aware of the bias that exists in science. I am aware of environmental regulations being used to affect other political, economic and social change. I am aware of how money and politics can skew science.

I also know that weather is not climate. But the weather, at least, does seem to be changing in my lifetime. That statement means nothing other than it is my perception.

And, I generally just think there are too many people. For lots of reasons.

Some can't even watch a short video, they either watch 30 seconds of it or they don't watch it at all and, as usual, give some uninformed opinion. Sheepel are why the government gets away with all of this overreach and not just "Climate change". Those that consistently post such uninformed opinions on this site are the prime example of the enablers, though they will never admit it either because they do not know any better, don't care, want this agenda, or are not smart enough to form a real opinion and just regurgitate whatever the government tells them.
