Such a dilemma. If it were just me, no problem, I could live, blend in, and thrive danged near anywhere. My bride, Not so much. We need to be out of our abode in May of 2024, due to the local development epidemic. With a few constraints, we could go anywhere in the world. Is there somewhere that: - would accommodate my English only speaking wife
- That is warm enough for my golf crazy old lady for the better part of the year, but not crazy hot so that a heat sensitive guy like me can function.
- freedoms such as gun ownership exist
- Cost of living is not worse than Biden's USA.
- Quality health care is available and affordable.
Most of my suggestions have been rejected by the co-managing partner, such as the highlands of Columbia, and Ecuador. I guess I am looking for strong arguments, maybe for ex-pat. communities, anywhere.

New Zealand would be great, but one school shooting a couple years back triggered the fascist lady emperor to ban guns. I know they do require retirees to have certain financial resources that I'm not sure I want to document.
For those reasons, I have not thought about it in a while. I definitely will reconsider.

I don’t think I could ever leave the US. Just too many opportunities here. New Zealand would be about the only one I’d consider, just because they have turkeys. I could never leave the US I grew up in, This ain't it, though. I'm open to a lot of places I never thought of before. I'm starting to think a couple hundred doves in a day might be more interesting than listening to Hannity claiming how great it just might be here.

I asked a retired military guy that still contracts to do high level security work for the government, if things went totally south here where would a guy move to? His answer was Poland. But I didn't get into detail as to why and that was before the Russia/ Ukraine thing. It isn't bad enough here for me to move though. I'm sure one could get a good job in Poland teaching the natives how to screw in light bulbs.

argentina is pretty long. the south has bad cold summer/winters. you would probably want to be in the northern third of the country
