Do the buildings have air conditioning? I am hoping to make it this year since I missed the last two conventions. With my health problems I cannot take the hot weather. Thanks.

It sure was a fun convention, even with the embarrassment of being the "Special Guest". Crowd was light, but I got to visit with a lot of friends. Thanks to those Wisconsin folks who worked their tails off to pull this off. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. I don't think most folks realize the amount of work it takes to put on one of these conventions. Thanks to the FTA also for your efforts. Looking forward to it being in Harrisonburg, VA next year. That's a whole lot closer to home.

Well on my way back home made it to Southern Indiana and gonna go the rest of the way home tomorrow. I had a great time and got to see a bunch of old friends and pick up some old traps. The T man feed was as good as it gets and I got to enjoy it with the boss man. Now next year is in Virginia so everyone that stayed home this year you can start putting money back for next year and come out to Virginia.
No matter where you go there you are.

We had a great time at the FTA Convention. I got to visit with Paul and also bought a couple of books from him too. He was also kind enough to "deface them" as he said by signing them for me. Also had a great visit with another one of the good guys....Lee Steinmeyer. It was neat the hear how his fleshing knives came to be. Thanks Lee. We also got to meet Jerry Pingley and CATHRYN. To say that Jerry is a patient man would be a huge understatement. ![grin grin](/forum/images/graemlins/default/grin.gif) If anyone deserves a medal, it is Jerry!

Hahaha.. craig...I need to talk to Sandy..lol He has plenty of METALS.. and I don't say a word to him about galavantin all over creation to put em in the ground whenever and where ever he wants...october through march....SO...if he has to "put up with me" when trapping season ain't in..I figure he's still coming out ahead of the game.lol I mean..im.the package deal.... Right??? LMAO smart..supportive...appreciative...shrewd when it comes to marketting fur..... I can set a trap..clean a squirrel...catch a fish...and he says I got " pretty blue eyes..a voluptuous figure(LOL) and a quick wit and a sharp tongue. I like.my dogs and I ain't afraid to mend a fence or brushhog a field or catch and doctor a dang sheep...and get muddy as all get out in yhe proces... Overall...I'd say...the good beats the bad in his favor I'd reckon.. Doncha think..lol
