of smoke created by BOCO's Province of Ontario bush fires.

Health officials are warning of extreme air quality degradation
as a result of fires in BOCO's registered bush trap-line stomping grounds.

If you can't keep your campfire under control up there
while cooking your Canadian bacon & Poutine,

Then go to Tim Horton's for your breakfast & coffee.

If you don't put out those fires, and stop that woodsmoke
from ruining our New York State air quality we shall invade
the Province of Ontario and extinguish the fires ourselves.

You BOCO, will be arrested as a International terrorist,
and charged with being an environmental rapist.

The smoke here is so bad you would think it was coming from right next door .Its actually blocking out the sun.Everything is a big haze.And NO,,I haven't been drinking!

There are some water bombers from Minnesota helping out I heard.Some of the Ontario fire crews are out fighting fires in Alberta.
9 fires burning in this area,a couple big ones.Probably Walleye getting smoked out by the fires in Quebec.
So far my traplines are not affected.
Should be able to get control of the ones here in the Cochrane district now with cooler weather coming.

I was up and heading to fish this morning before sunrise, and the full Moon was blood red from the smoke...I'm guessing?

It's weirdly hazy here in Central Ohio, because of the fires in Canada. The ridge top behind me is indistinct. Google maps shows the air quality as being poor, due to Canada, down into Mississippi.

According to Google Maps, most of the smoke pollution is blowing South into the US.

MNRF has a good interactive forest fire map you can google.
Gives exact location of fires,size of the fire in Hectares and status,out of control,under control or being held or in the far north just observed.Also says when the fire started.

It got hazy last week. The weather man said, it was from the fires up there! That’s a long ways from here to boco’s.

We need to bring a massive lawsuit against Canada. Settlement will in include Canada having to pay for the next 5 years of EV cars, solar, and pride parades.

I agree wholeheartedly, except for the parades, unless as part of the settlement Canada agrees to host the parades and the participants, permanently on it's soil.
