Thank you to everyone that donated food, cash and door prises to the Feed. A total of 185 people were served and $1301.50 donated. That money is split between FTA and Trapperman Discretionary Fund. A huge Thank You to Nute (Denny) and Eagleye (Bob) for doing alot of the prep and serving. Dave Nute and Eagleye

What a great evening. The folks that made all of this possible have my respect. They did an outstanding job and made the whole affair a great time for all of us. Those beaver brats were excellent too.
Thank you again to everyone. GREAT JOB!!!!

Wish that we could have been there. TMan feeds are a lot of stress and work for the Organizers of it all. But, the friendships and rewards of fellowship overule all that. Congrats on a successful feed.

I never stayed for a t-man feed....but $7 average for donations for a charity is pretty pathetic....c'mon people spend $12 going through fast food joints We hear that sometimes, Keets, but you have to remember that people contribute in other ways too. There are those who work all day (and those who work for days or weeks ahead), those who prepare and bring some fantastic and often expensive foods, and those who donate door prizes for the occasion. With all of that factored in, contribution assessment gets a bit more elusive.

I never stayed for a t-man feed....but $7 average for donations for a charity is pretty pathetic....c'mon people spend $12 going through fast food joints Umm.. there were alot of kids that ate so..it cost some families lot.of money..even at 7.00 a plate And Alot of us spent money and donated items.back to the kids camp so we supported the fta in ways in addition to the tman feed donations. ..which I'm sure others did as well. Overall things were great and imo, we shouldn't highlight the convention with negativity. That doesn't do any good for anybody and it might even discourage someone from attending future feed if the cant.pay alot and I'd hate to miss meeting someone on here at h eed because there not able to pay some high price for the meal. They said pay what you can afford and I'm sure everyone did. Ya gotta remember aomeof us aren't well to do and 7.00 bucks a plate is a stretch.

I never stayed for a t-man feed....but $7 average for donations for a charity is pretty pathetic....c'mon people spend $12 going through fast food joints The Trappermann feeds in Wisconsin have never been about fundraising. It's a time for people to relax, meet up with old friends, meet new ones and just kick back after a long day at the convention. There is never been an expectation for anyone to donate to participate and enjoy the fellowship. We are saddened that you had never attended a Wisconsin Trapperman feed. As a trapper and/or supporter of trapping, you and your family are always welcome! Come join us sometime.

I never stayed for a t-man feed....but $7 average for donations for a charity is pretty pathetic....c'mon people spend $12 going through fast food joints Keets, as the organizer of the Feed I honestly don't measure the success of the event based on the average $ donated by those that attend. I measure success from seeing full plates go thru the line, folks talking and laughing at the tables, kids holding door prize tickets in anticipation of their number being called, folks commenting on how good beaver brats were when coming back for seconds, trappers meeting a fellow trapper for the first time and the overall positive energy that is present in the room. Dollars donated can't measure that and many who went thru the Feed line were there earlier dropping off food, equipment, door prizes, etc. The funds raised to support the organizations that support trapping is a bonus. I personally invite you to the Feed at our state convention in Antigo on September 8th, donate nothing or a $100, I respect whatever you choose to do. Some things can't be measured in dollars and cents, hopefully you can attend and appreciate that. Respectfully, Dave

It was a great time, the food was excellent and the people that put this on are some of the finest people you'll ever meet.
