First year I have ever sent fur to them. Wondering if anyone has gotten there fur check and if not usually how long until they show up in the mailbox? Was hoping to have it before the PA Rendezvous, but if not, that's okay also.

It’s usually about 3 weeks after the end of the sale.

You get it quicker with direct deposit.

Checks SHOULD start going out next week. No promises or guarantees. Just my opinion.

For those in the US. In the past, all the checks for US shippers have been driven to the border and then mailed from a US post office.

You must get it quicker that way. I trapped two beaver that had moved into our channel at the lake last fall. They were two year olds. I gave them to a trapper friend. He shipped them to FH and said he got $28 dollars each. Said he had a few other beaver that went for $38. Not great, IMO. But, not bad either.

Is that it? From my readings I assumed that checks sent out west went via canoe accompanied by robust singing by the voyageurs paddling those birch-barks.
