Sun tanned faces with shiny foreheads from wearing a hat. Reminds me of most all pictures of my dad. Bib overalls too. Thanks.

This picture brings back memories for me also. I noticed that it was taken in 1956. I was 11 yrs. old at that time and we use to make yearly trips down into Northern Indiana where my father had a number relatives who farmed. The men mostly wore bib overalls and the ladies wore dresses.

Here's another old photo from Iowa. I'll be out at that same house tomorrow visiting my dad. House looks better now than it did in that picture and it's mainly still all original. I'm fortunate to still get to see my heritage from from over 150+ years ago. The original barn is still standing and is one of the largest in the area that's still around. Just got new windows put in it about a decade ago and a steel roof

I need to dig through and find some old photos of here, that looks like a wooden silo or maybe cement which it would have been rare here.
