If you have some well drained soil and 70-75% shade, try some goldenseal (yellow root) and some ginseng.

Elderberry should be number one on your list. It has chemicals in it that prevent viruses from being able to attach to cells, to replicate themselves. It's been used for medicine since before the time of Ancient Greece. It was thought to be magical during the Middle Ages.
Keith Elderberry is mildly poisonous too in larger amounts isn't it ?

Think it was popular along the colodial silver stuff. And doesn't sang' take a few years to grow till it's ready for harvest or is that only in its wild state ?

Cultivated it can mature in 4/5 years but the cultivated stuff is considered inferior to the wild

Keith Elderberry is mildly poisonous too in larger amounts isn't it ? Once the juice from the berries is cooked, elderberry is GRAS (generally regarded as safe) Don't consume any other parts of the plant. Take a look in the pharmacy section the next time you shop. They are putting elderberry in dozens of medicinal products and supplements. Keith
