No fisher in my parts but if you set for coyotes, you'll catch all the others on your list.

Ones that cause the most damage, or pay the most for fur!

Trap a few of every animal you have. Learn to read sign and the lay of the land. Learn to skin and put up a variety of animals. Have fun and enjoy the outdoors. Good luck this year

When I started it was can I catch one of x and used basic sets and bait. Mainly coon and used caned fish in dirt holes with 1.5 Duke coil springs. Cheap simple and effective. I added other critters. Then it was trying different sets, ie land water, bait sets ,trail sets, body grips, and then snairs. Get effective with them all then it's going for a right hind foot catch ot feet front ect. It's like life it's a journey, you learn along the way. Enjoy the trip and don't miss the important parts in a hurry focused on the destination.

I have not see you post on what to do once you do start making catches. Shinning and fur handling are as important as catching and I'm no hood at fur handling to rhe point I would pay to have it done MO r e than I could sell the put up fur for but no one has been interested.

Next you will n÷t fur handling tools stretchers and location to put up fur.

Thee are a few main markets fur and taxidermy are two and skinning is different. There are other markets for body parts like cleaned skuls and bones and also for glands even fetuses from heavy breed females.

My best memories are being successful when first starting out with new technics. Some of the jot so fond are cold hands and shaped traps on freezing wet finger nails. Number 5 bridges come to mind or a Duke 220. Some are fun to get out of.

Also don't over look trapline safety. A lot can go wrong fast. It's usually something that over looked or you know better but you can do it just this once.
