Ticks are preventable. I know of NOTHING that keeps gnats from buzzing your face getting in your mouth, up your nose, and in your ears.

Guess I need to do some research. My legsans arms are weak, joints achy wrist elbows shoulders and a less extent knees. I'm off balance and extremely tired. Had a very well dug in tick about the time it started. But I have also been running on 2 to 3 hrs sleep, working up to 96 hrs and all my extra spair time doing farm work and working bees so thought I hav just run myself down.

So I'm run down, have tick related problem. Or C. May actually need to scedual that spinal tap and get checked for MS. In not sure but with your comment I'm thinking Tick. Should be easier to get checked and treat.

After being diagnosed with MS, I had them run the test for Lymes every time I had a blood test done as the two show up much the same and sometimes easily mis diagnosed.

Heat.Hate it and cant stand it.Thank God Nights are cool in the North even when days are roasting mid summer.
Really look forward to Fall and winter.
I will add the caveat that the heat from a wood stove after a day on the trapline in fall and winter is welcome.
At least once the stove is rockin you can open a window or door to regulate.

The humidity, I can’t stand it. Here in southeast PA we regularly get dewpoint between 65° and 70° and even higher July through August. Heat in the 90s isn’t that hard to take, but the humidity just drains my energy.

Eh...wot?

Heat/humidity, which luckily has been absent this year so far.

I don't have bugs enough to bother a fella.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

I was diagnosed with MS from an mri. A spinal tap was never mentioned. Most of what you described is what ive experienced the past few years except I dont really have the weakness in arms and legs, at least in the sense of lifting weights. That is, when im indoors in a cool climate. It doesnt take much for me to overheat, and then every step is a struggle. My balance suffers at times. One thing to watch for is called “foot drop”. After walking a while, mainly my left foot is affected. I cant raise my toes at all, which makes walking difficult. Every symptom is enhanced 20-fold when i get too hot. I absolutely despise the summer months for the heat/humidity.

Dcw the main is where they suggested I may have Ms from I have multiple lesion in my brain and neck but I never got a diagnosis. I don't know it old concussions leave lesion that show up on mri years later but I have has several of those . My problem started when I was off due to covid so they said it was long covid or MS. And of course who wants to believe they have MS and fhe time line for covid made the most since. Probably why I want to blaim fhe ticks now. Time line lines up and I don't want to have MS or even a spinal tap. With as many tick as I get a year I would be more surprised if I didn't have lymes than if I do.

One thing for sure is the 16hrs days and 96 hr weeks and all other time working on the farm is becoming difficult. Only getting 60hrs this week 3 16s and 1 12. The days off before day light tell late into the night were working at the farm.

The worst part of summer for me is poison ivy. Of course the bush here is covered in it including my yard. Ruins my life when I touch it.

The heat is pretty miserable too. Canada isn’t only cold. It’s HOT!!
