whiteotter55 OP trapper W Joined: Dec 2006 wisconsin,U.S.A.	found a cast iron pot in the barn, it has a 10 on the bottom and little spikes on the bottom of cover, what are those little spikes for.?

Nessmuck trapper N Joined: Nov 2011 New Hampshire	Those are self basting items ....the steam rises and collects on the inside of the lid...then flows down evenly and drips off those bumps onto your meat or what Evah yah cookin It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.
