Yesterday i was at my cousin's house boiling crabs and shrimp with her husband, and we started talking about a trapping job I did for them this last season. He said he had a trap and wanted to give it to me. We had a break and walked behind his shed, leaning against it was a RGB 1022! To make a long story short, I got that trap, and he told me that he had a pile of different traps in the back of his shed. He told me he was going to dig them out and I could have them.

A great afternoon...eating fresh seafood, drinking adult beverages, getting a nice trap and in the near future others, got permission to trap his property, the bordering neighbor's and hunting club properties...Drinking coffee this morning with a big grin on my face.

I got a 130 acres from my cousin's land, about the same from the neighbor, and the hunting club is about 3.000. There is a gas line that runs through all three properties, a couple of sloughs, two lakes that are about 20 acres each, and swamp bottoms, all of it backs up into a river. It is loaded with beavers, otters, canines and bobcats. The coons and mink are off the charts. It will be a decent location as I can keep my side by side at my cousin's, extra gear and not have to worry about it. Basically just show up in the truck without having to pull a trailer. Couldn't sleep last night thinking about it.

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

Sounds amazing. I have been having the excited and can't sleep thing lately but it's been thinking about my bees and how they are doing. Will those queens hatch are they going to swarm or can I wait a few days. Pullnhoneynor wait.

That’s awesome. You need to keep the hunting club up to date on what you catch and how much you are helping them out on predator control. Hopefully it will be a long term partnership.

Good deal on picking up that property. New ground is always fun to scout and trap.
