Apparently volume 2 is in the works. This time in 2 separate books as the original is too phat. Tim Hiller from Wildlife Ecology Institute is the main writer from what I’ve gathered. Anyone got more info on this and its release date? Yes, I searched it, sent Tim at WEI an email too…lol.
On another note.
West river rogue was looking for a copy but $300 was too much, I found mine used for $300CA, you can get a digital copy from Ontario Trappers Association for $50CA, but I like the hands on book.

I have the hardbound copy of the Bible as it is called in many wildlife management circles. I highly recommend buying one if you can afford it. I also have the digital edition but the actual book is far more usable.

As an interesting side note......... The chapter on mink is written by our own member....Gulo.

There's more information about fur grading, sections, color morphs, range of populations, management techniques, priming times and cycles, anything you can think of regarding fur, packed into this book than any one person could even begin to know. If you can find it, and can afford it, buy it!

Here’s a link to the Wolf chapter.

Apparently they’re way behind updating their website. There’s other free downloads on their page if you’re interested.
