If you can get one with a slide that doesn't impede your cargo , that would be a plus

The fiberglass gel coat is supposed to be an upgrade but the aluminum siding will last longer imo

Bumper pull is the way to go in my opinion , so you can use your pickup bed for random crap like firewood , chainsaw , chairs , shovel , ice chest ... ..

I bought an 18' cargo trailer and converted it to a toy hauler/camper. I can put a SXS and atv in it, or two atv's. I has two fold down cots that convert to a king size bed, small kitchen, shower stall, and portable toilet. Everything in it is modular so I can take it out in just a few minutes and use it as a cargo/storage trailer. I installed a 12k mini-split for heat and air. It was much cheaper than buying a toy hauler and I have the benefit of hauling more than one toy.

I looked at toy haulers for hunting and didn't like the fact that I was tied to 1 location once camp was set up At least for myself here in Nevada we might start 30 miles or more away from camp on a different mountain range then where we started today.

Wrangler put the tent gear in the sxs just in case. Lol
I have a very nice outfitters setup. But this would be way faster and have air for those summer time NTAs. The one I'm looking at has a 16' garage so plenty of room for my sxs and my grandsons.

The biggest wreck I have ever seen was with about s 30 ft bumper hitch going down a long grade. Be careful, that will over-match all but the stoutest suspensions.

Im not a fan of fiberglass. When the roof leaks they are harder to fix the sides. Aluminum u just take it off and repair, throw it back on. Fiberglass seems like it gets discolored and bubbles.
What are you towing it with? Thats a long camper, mine is 28 ft hauled with f350 4 door 8 ft bed. Can be a pain getting it in some campsites.

We used to have a Grey Wolf toy hauler, it was a little over 34 feet from hitch to rear bumper. I really liked the camper but it's size really limited the options as to where you could camp. Most state parks, USFS and NPS campgrounds have no to very few sites that will accommodate a rig that size if you are only planning on commercial campgrounds you will be good obviously if you remote camp you have more options as well. Also with a rig of that size you are pretty much restricted to fueling at locations with truck lanes. So if your planned camping areas and travel areas fit these restrictions you will love it, if not you may be frustrated with your purchase.

This is the bad part of setting up my wall tent for a week or two . It's there till the hunt is over .

With my hauler I can hook up and move fairly easily

Wrangler , you must be talking about trailering your side x side away from camp ?

Then yes that would suck
