Better to have it and not need it than the other way around.

Nice gun and a prefect friend to the Arnis Sword Bolo that you sell. Ive been out of bolo"s since covid started as the philippines was terribly shut down. Wish I had kept one for me to chop burdock stalks. I had 8 in philippines but sons mom probably sold them.

Dave you can Carry a rifle and have accuracy and power. Handguns are weak and most can't shoot them as well as rifles. But a rifle won't fit in your pocket and is a pain to pack around. A small Handgun is always on your person all the time. In the of chance you need one the one in yout truck won't do you any good if you're not in the truck. Always in your person is the only way to be sure you have it if it's needed. If I ever thought I would need a gun for defense situation I would not go into that place. The point is you never know when or where a nut job will loose it.
Big guns tend to get left in a vehicle or at home due to them being inconvenient. That's why small guns are popular.

To me Dave, i just dont feel comfortable carrying one unless running traps, then its a . 22. Just not who i want to be. That being said, i have taught my son proper firearm safety and handling and feel even if he never intends to use one its mandatory he knows how.

9, 40 , 45 at the end of the day are all calibrated to go 12-14 inches in ballistic gel
so more recoil and more diameter get you the same depth and similar holes
how similar , similar enough that a bad shot with a 9 .355" shot in the exact same place with the 45 .452" wouldn't really make it a good shot with the 45
the difference is you can carry 8-10 rounds in your pocket with a 9mm micro compact and that would be a hard thing to pull off with a 45 the gun you have with you is a lot better than the one you left at home if you happen to need it
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
