Pop up storm just hit. Was not predicted at all.
Pouring hard here now and lookes like we may get a 1/2" in the next half hour.
Then starting tomorrow thru Sunday, 2" predicted.
Need it SO badly.

Most of Western SD and the Black Hills look great for now.

Getting storms now, had just over an inch in last 24 hrs. Needed it, but crops are looking alright. Corn was just showing signs of stress before this rain.

Beautiful/needed rain.

Nuttin here for better than 3 weeks. I've mowed twice this year, so far. Have not had the mower out since the first week in June. Grass is dormant. Weeds are struggling. All in all, it's great! I water the garden and it's doing spectacular, and I don't have to mow. I do feel bad for the folks who depend on rain for their crops.

In the same boat. Farmer won't even cut my fields. Corn is browning. Bees are making no honey. Need a lot of rain.

We are getting rain. Thankfully it's not a gully washer.

Been nice here last three days, been raining before that, hay crop definitely suffered from the dry May.

I am jealous! We haven't had more than a 1/10 inch in the last month. They are predicting rain over the weekend so I gambled and mowed the lawn yesterday. If we don't get rain the rest of it will die. I have had to keep carrying water to the apple trees. I would rather be fishing.

Lots of rain here lately. Was surprised to see frost this morning though, temp was right at 32.

We haven't had measurable rain in about a month. My grass is straw-colored. I have a yellow lawn. They are predicting rain for 6 days straight starting tomorrow which I will believe when I see it.

Locally we've been good with timely storms but it seems we're on island..
