Good morning guys so I’ve been tryin to look this up and have heard multiple conflicting sides. When it comes to the essences do I need to be preserving it or no? Also when it comes to dispatch what is the best way to keep the most essence inside the critter?I’ve heard to shoot ‘em in the lungs, choke em out, something called a skunk sleeper. Essence doesn't need preserved as bacteria has no effect on it but it does fade both in storage and in formulation. Finding a good way to fix the odor is a valuable tool for a lure maker. But the good methods of doing it are usually kept close to the vest so to speak as trade secrets.
