First thing I thought of was that old show filmed around Manitoulin in the 70s-Adventures in Rainbow Country.
I think the North Shore and Manitoulin is still called Rainbow Country.

I have a nephew who is gay..and actually is "married" to another guy.

He lives in NM.

I love him but I don't approve of his choices..but then some people don't approve of me..BUT..I don't shove my "agenda" down anyone's throat.

I don't believe in bullying anyone.for being different...far from it..I wouldn't stand by and let anyone be bullied and humiliated for who they are.

I have a daughter with her own set if issues and I can truly sympathize with those people who are having to deal with extra crap in their personal.lives

I think that is a fairly recent thing-trying to connect a rainbow with Gays.
I guess Im old school.When I see a rainbow it reminds me of the bush after a storm or of a pot of gold at the end.
I dont buy into the gay rainbow thing.Rainbows dont remind me of gays and never will cause when and where I was raised rainbows had a different meaning.Too old to change my way of thinking for sure no matter how people want to twist things around.
