Great video as usual. We all enjoy following you on your line. How about some summer videos of your non trapping life. Fishing I am sure is a summer past time for all of us and yours is totally different from ours. Thanks.....jk

Thanks. Yeah I’ve finally getting into editing summer footage. I put up a couple videos on projects around the house. The next video will be of our spring time subsistence duck hunts. We have had an oddly long spring melt so our river has not cleared up for fishing yet but within 2 weeks we’ll be setting fish nets even if the river hadn’t cleared up yet. Thanks for asking though I wasn’t sure if y’all on here would like to see those videos.

Well I’m a bit late but enjoyed your video. Been out of town , glad to see this one. Really like the gear and packing aspects , the little things , as well as the big stuff.

Being the camp cook often on outings, I find your lunch stops interesting too. I do similar things, with packs of freeze dried meals , adding my own spices, dried meats, etc , half bought, half custom . Just add water grin always interested in what folks keep for emergency use.

I hardly ever see anyone carry what I call fighting staffs. I do always in the bush. A martial artist made mine , as you say, with many uses. Perfect height for me, light, very tough wood. I use them for anything . Including self defense, as they are built first to do. Even so, they also serve well for the most humble of tasks, from balancing on scree rock slopes, carrying weight , hanging as a cross pole, anything. Good to see you like them too.

Beautiful wolverine.Love nice necklace bling, every time. Thank you for the details about the foot pads on older ones. When I illustrate them, even in mid winter garb, I like to show a hint of pads, because I like feet detail. Now I know I am actually drawing a mature male , to those that notice the pads cool

Thank you for sharing . I do like the educational little things, of equipment and animals.

Yeah next season I’ll be sure to show more of the gear that I use from the layers I wear to the little odds and ends in my pack.

Gotta have customized meals out in the woods. Even if it’s just adding tea or coffee.

I’ll be doing a video on the finished walking stick/staff. I read an article in the backwoods man magazine once that was about the power behind a staff, as a self defense tool.

Yeah the first 2 wolverine I caught had visible pads then the next 8 were covered with fur until I caught another old one a couple years later and have noticed it since.

I have to remember to talk through my thinking process when building sets and even where I step.

Have a good one thanks for the feedback
