Never happened to me before . Storm went North of us so we were going to start fishing again Some lighting a ways North a d I picked up my pole and got a good zapping threw it on the boat floor my son picked it up and it actually snapped and crackled shocked him also. Did manage to catch a 29 inch 8.5 pound walleye ,my biggest .
