I worked at a large paper mill. One day I came into work it was real dark. Turns out a raccoon had shorted out a 13kw substation on the property. The raccoon got toasted.

They were out of power for several days trying to track down a transformer and install it.

3.5 million dollar loss in production. 1 raccoon.

I trapped over 60 squirrels off of my neighbors farm last fall. About a week after I pulled their power went out. The one squirrel I didn't catch blew the transformer taking out power on their farm..I caught a lot of kidding over that one!

What happened to that last squirrel? Did he get the chair?

When I lived in Dayton, my dogs went after a raccoon, that then fled up over my privacy fence, up the power pole in my neighbors back yard into the transformer. The coon knocked out our power and got stuck to the transformer.

Yes, just chard remains in the box.

Had a bald eagle get fried on top of a pole at the end of my driveway a few years ago. Didn't knock out the power but he was stuck on top of the pole. I called the electric co-op and they came with a bucket truck and got him down. I was going to pitch him in the trees but they had to bag him up and take it to fish and wildlife.

Neighbor lady has an older autistic son (30s) never heard him say anything until a bird was zapped in front of his house and started a small grass fire. I show up to help out and he tells his excited story step by step now keep in mind he’s never said a word to me over the years.

He proceeded to tell everyone that he came across the same story I never heard another word out of him after that. When I drop off garden stuff, eggs or spray her weeds and help mow he just stays away. I could count on one hand the number of times I’ve seen him outside in 20+ years.

I admire her dedication as a Mom.

Law Dog the sad part is what happend to him after she dies.

He has a sister but no clue how that would work out with her she’s kind of a free spirit, he belongs to the local stepping stone center he would end up there most likely he knows the people there not a bad thing.
