Since I am a newbie to the trap collecting scene, I am curious if this is all original and if so, approximate value (wondering if I got a good deal). I appreciate the wealth of knowledge on here and thanks in advance for any info. It does have the cast swivel…sorry, just realized it didn’t show in the pictures

Scarce collector trap. Pan is decent and the portion of the trap shown mostly good, There are 6 small teeth that have been added to the left jaw by drilling holes for them and riveting them in. More thorough inspection might reveal other questionable features. The heavy black coating raises flag of concern.

Thanks Cohunt. I’m certainly no expert and I wasn’t sure about the teeth…. I think the picture makes it look like it is dark because I had just given it a good WD-40 coating before I took the picture, before that it looked normal. Thanks for the response!
