That sounds fool proof to me---ha Ha...when things go wrong I bet they go wrong FAST!!!!!

Thank Scuba1, we figured it was all computer controlled,but weren't quite sure . I never thought about the posibility of running them in a different direction for docking,etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I've always been under the impression that the original purpose for twin engines on offshore boats was the one is none two is one theory. From back in the day when working on outboards on the water was a thing.
And it all evolved from there.

You are right Warrior. As boats got bigger they ended up putting more and more outboards onto the back of them and now they are upping th power of those outboards as well Mercury now makes a 600 hp V12 outboard ... Looked at a boat this morning that had 3 of those on there
