Drinking beer.

Pulled traps this morning. Setting cams for hogs. Souring corn for when I find them. Being lazy the rest of the time. Work Monday and of course off Tuesday then back to work the rest of the week. This hot weather makes it hard to enjoy doing anything. I won’t say it’s the weather, but the gnats, horsefly’s, and mosquitoes that make it not so enjoyable. Heck even in the dark the horsefly’s and mosquitoes are still bad!

Little as possible. Will probably take the kids to one of the local fireworks shows. Too dry here on the farm to shoot anything off here.

We've got about 9 kids here right now (5 are ours) lighting firecrackers and bottle rockets. Already been to the firecracker stand 3 times today. We have a bunch coming over on Tuesday, we'll grill and blow some more stuff up.

Played golf with some of the guys this morning,went over to a friends place visited for awhile,now I'm dying some footholds getting ready for the next complaint and sitting in front of a 28" fan it's 85 outside so I'm staying inside as much as I can and enjoying my fourth day off since April 23rd.

went fishing Friday night , caught upon sleep and did the grocery shopping , going fishing again, work soem double time and a half tomorrow then family fish fry on the 4th frying cats

Marinading 10 #'s of pork and 10 #'s of chicken since Wed for Jamaican Jerk on Tuesday.

Smoking a couple briskets. Couple small projects around the house.

Worked yesterday and today. Off the next three days. Tomorrow we're going to buy fireworks and I'll make some food ahead of time for the 4th. On the 4th, just a small family BBQ and then shoot off the fireworks. On the 5th, we're partying again with a combination birthday for me and Pete (mine got cancelled last week due to illness).

Hope to find a little time in there to clear some more trails for my new-to-me SxS.

Actually the grandson and his little buddy found them in a little wetland near his house while they were out prowling around.
Grandson, his dad, and I caught a limit Friday night. I gotta admit I thought he was yanking my chain until I saw the size of them lol

My Daughter Taylor, had a 9 pound 3 oz little girl named Gemma Marie! This Grandpa is awful proud!

As for the 4 th we're having a BBQ with family then lighting fireworks and watching the town aerials with rain in our forecast for tomorrow so hopefully there won't be any fires !

Congratulations We are going to the Regatta Races and then I go right back to work thru the Month. After the 4th all vacation days have been cancelled until further notice. Pillaring is going full, force before the Permits expire!!

Family, Family & Family for two weeks! Great times. Wife and I enjoy this time.
