Was reading a Fur Fish &Game article on the Nessmuc knife..so I bought one.

Then read about "Nessmuc" aka George Washington Sears...and his writing and camping stories..and how the Nessmuc knife was born.

We had a huge swamp behind my house where I grew up. The water in it was as black as Texas tea in some spots. We always called it Black Swamp. I called all of my Walker coonhounds Black Swamp what ever. For Tman I just shortened it to Swamp.
