I own a 2014 Yamaha TW 200 and a 2022 klr650, both bought new from a dealer.

TW200 is a absolute goat, goes anywhere from the hwy at 60mph all day long to trails that ATVs can't get thru, have set traps off it and it's my bear bait rig also, got 9700 miles on it

KLR650 in my opinion is more of a dirt road/forest road cruiser and rides great on the interstate going 70-75mph, kinda big/tall I think for trail riding as it has a higher seat. Bought it 12 months ago and got 1900 miles so far on it

I'd like to get the wife a tw200 so I could use it during archery season

It's a 95 with the e start. Got the big bore 440 kit. The original clutch an springs were no match for the added displacement so it's down for a few more days until parts arrive. I was wondering what led you to the 690 for your travels?

I've got an 03 Kawasaki Super Sherpa 250. It is sold still in Australia as the Stockman. Air cooled, 6 speed, low seat height. Simple to work on and service. About to gear it down and add rim locks for the trails around here. Gets about 70mpg right now. Cool little bike.

Fun factor .....the 690 has 73 horse power and weighs about 320 lbs


It's a great adventure bike for running mostly dirt . We run about 90/10

Dirt/ street . Light enough to run some single track also . The suspension could be better but not bad overall

My son's and I run these Yamahas for a true off-road adrenaline rush .

And I like the truck, too!

73 hp is pucker power!! I'm limited being 5ft 6. I'd love to get a wr250f but they are still to tall after lowering link for my liking. Eye balling a crf250x for my adrenaline bike
