I'm in the market for some new traps. I have some no BS juniors and like them but I have no experience with the alpha. Can anybody give me any info on them or reviews. I can't get my hands on any Sterlings or else that's what I would have gotten

I use mostly MB 550s but bought a dozen Alphas when they came out. I've caught coyotes with them and they are good traps. I still prefer the MB 550s but that is probably just because that is what I started with and have been using for years.

I run MB 550s and Alpha #3s. The Alphas are Dogless with a larger pan and a slightly wider Jaws. Both are nice traps and bed easily. I run them interchangeably at sets and do not prefer one over the other. Have never used a no BS junior but have handled a couple and there is no doubt in my mind that they are an excellent, well-built trap. I own more 550s and Alphas than I typically set so no need to buy another brand at this point. Have not checked price difference between Alphas and no bs traps since Freedom Brand took over production but that may be an issue for some.

What's your main target animal?

No BS wire levers are $38 each and Alpha #3s are $32.

Mercy. I'd buy Jakes before I paid that for either one of those.

Have you looked at the no dead zone traps?

Harris Traps he will be national trapping convention.

I go for my Sterling Trap's first, but Harris Traps the next that I set.

Bridger Trap's get set where the chance of theft is.

I bought 1/2 dozen Alphas to try. Like the trap, but the springs on them became very weak, very fast.
