We’re excited about traveling to Escanaba for NTA. Convention does anybody know how many people attend these types of trapping conventions?

On an average year, paid admissions are usually between 2,000-3,000. Escanaba has historically been much better attended than the average - usually 5,000+.

I was overwhelmed at the Minnesota one last year….but apparently they always have a pretty big one.

yes, people love coming to the U P and Escanaba, we have a great fairground to work with and lots of things to do and see here for outdoor people.

We are looking forward to coming. Sounds like a great place for a convention.

It’s so much fun! You won’t regret coming to Escanaba!! Roy is one of the hardest working event organizers working behind the scenes to make sure everything falls into place. He surrounds himself with hardworking volunteers. Yup, the UP Trappers, with Roy leading the convention, put on an amazing convention!

What are the fairground campsites like? Trees? Showers? I know it will be cooler there but been to nationals with nothing but bare campsites and only a couple showers. Looking to tent camp but need electricity for my crap.
