I would spend most of it on whiskey and women.

The rest I'd just waste.

Lately I have been "investing" In Bee keeping equipment. Probably at least that amount in the last 4 years. Am yet to break even butcould be close if I quit expanding. Next year I hope to recover all my cost and double my invested amount.

I have also been paying off a rent house mortgage. Had 9 years left working on doing it in less than 2. Interest rate on it is high at 7.1 so paying it off is saving money I think.d

I also have 29k sitting in a savings account I unt doing nothing and think I should put half of it into something but not sure what. I thought some ladder cds due to avaliablity to access funds if needed. But would like better returns . I have been expecting a down turn thet never seems to happen to buy on the dip

I'm watching with Keen intrest becuse I'm not sure what to do myself and so I do nothing.

Find a broker that will work with smaller investments that you feel comfortable with . Buy stocks in proven companies when there undervalued , sell them on the run-up . Rinse and repeat

Buy, sell and trade goods.
It is work but returns are there for the picking.
Usually try for 100-200% on stuff under 200
33-100 after that.
Sometimes thing will need attention to get ready for marketing.

Every year before berry harvesters arrive find cheap cars.
In the winter Shop for boats in my area

My wife has a 45,000 and a 20,000 painting she got for 400 because she knows art and love to thrift store
(But she loves art and does not want to sell)

Buy a mini van and start a gardening business, or a stump grinder and grind stumps on weekends, buy some wholesale trees this fall on clearance and sell/install them in the spring.

Basically, invest in yourself

As said, invest in yourself.
If you're smart and work hard, you can retire at 50

This is a good option, especially since you are looking at the long haul and are a novice at investing....as you learn more, you will be able to pick some quality mutual funds that beat index funds. I recommend to start reading and learning about investments for yourself....its ok to get advice from others, but ultimately , its your money and YOU need to be able to make wise decisions with it.

Go to a couple different financial guys and get their opinion I personally like Edward Jones mainly they are heavily insured and I have known my advisor since we used to get his lab drunk back in high school.

A couple thermals and start guiding hog hunts. Going rate here is $450 a night of killing. $900 for 1 night so in 10 nights you’ve made your money back and the rest is profit. One thing guaranteed…no shortage of pigs on this planet. I can get 2 decent thermals for $6800. That leaves $2200 for expenses not counting some folks “pay” to have pigs removed. Win win!

Talk to a professonal financial advisor. Buying individual stocks is very risky and those in the business seem to know what changes are coming long before the normal person does.

57 years trapping. It's who I am. Every day is still as exciting as it was when I was a kid but a little more work.
