Motor Biscuit says Chevy Colorado's aren't selling as fast as last year. Maybe people are reading coonman 220's posts. Just a random thought I had.

I drove one a few years ago and I thought it sucked, maybe that's why.

I know. I don't know why they have both. I have a Silverado. My Brother rejects Chevy but bought a GMC. After several Fords.

They BOTH suck now days ford and chevy! My 2020 silverado work truck runs around with the check engine light on all day. Just need to add a few more useless sensor's to their junk.

I've been looking at them. They just aren't available. Every time I get a call from the dealer that they have one, it is sold before I get there. Twice, within an hour of the call. I made it to the dealer in time to sit in one the other day, but the manager came out to tell me it was sold before I could decide if I liked it or not.

Sister in law had one with the diesel. It drove fine. We've got a 2021 with the 3.6 v6. Good little truck. No problems in 15k. Rides nice, averages 23 mpg without thing about it. The best I've done (once) with my 2022 Silverado 6.2 is 23.8. Never can close to 23 with a 2015 Chevy 5.3. Of course it was often pulling a 22' trailer loaded with 6 wheeled side by sides and always on gravel roads.

Correct, they discontinued the diesel and the V-6, the 4-banger is the only option now. One is 310 HP turbo the other is 270 HP turbo, I believe. Also, only available with the short box. Seems like a nice rig to pick asparagus with. At least it will fit in the box, as long as you don't spend more than a half a day picking.

Why are the engines getting smaller and the HP going up? All to have the same mpg as trucks from the last severa years. Am I wrong in thinking higher HP means more gas? Isnt Toyota coming out with a true compact truck in the US?

Colorado is for those that cant afford a Silverado.

I’m 5’10” and had to drive a Colorado the first time my 2019 Silverado rear window leaked. The Colorado sucked. It was very cramped in the cab. I felt like I was wearing it.
